This is ridiculous the game looks good just because some of the cut scenes are pre rendered does it make it look any less amazing.
The game-play footage is what matters and it looks great. Admit it guys this game has the potential to be very good just like me2 god of war 3 and heavy rain are good. The only people who do not see how amazing these games are in their own right is a fan boy, which sadly accounts for a large portion of this site and the internet.
I noticed that some are defending the move by saying "Its only pre alpha" but if i recall correctly when the first real halo reach footage was shown in that first Dev diary or vidoc many people argued that the game would not improve graphically from alpha to beta to gold so does pre alpha leave room from improvement?

this has got to be the most absurd article ever its not like if ff13 failed Sony would discontinue the ps3 Sony is doing better than ever in terms of the ps3 this game will not make or break the system
wow this is sad, this article in no way mentioned 360 and people are still trying to diss it. the sony fanboys out here the 360 does not have the rrod problem in models made since sept 2008 so thats not a valid argument. and both consoles have pros and cons and all consoles have good games. so cant we play them. just apreciate the fact you have a console with awsome games and you dont have to worry about your next meal or where your going to sleep tonight
